The Big 4 routinely farm out clerical work on an overnight basis to affiliates in India. The same for clerical tax work. The Big 4ism names for this export of jobs includes Global Hub and World Market etc. If I was a client, I'd be pissed my data was shipped there nightly. Partner comp includes this as a metric.
My question is, beyond the social benefit of jobs created over there what, if anything, are the Big 4 doing to change a perceved cultural mindset of acceptable violence against women and girls? Some of us are sickened by the recurring headlines like the following one today;
The Big 4 are so proud to trumpet their inclusiveness and diversty at home. What are they doing to actively right a hideous social wrong in a country that is a huge supplier ?
