I have heard students at my university say that if our MAcc program had one more Tax class, they would recieve a 10k higher salary starting out as an associate at B4 firm. Our MAcc Program has four graduate tax classes: tax research, estate and gift tax, c corp tax, and partnership tax. Is what I'm hearing true? If i was to do an independent study for another tax course would this count so I can get the additional 10k starting salary?
