I'm sure all of the Big 4 got some kind of stupid email from their CEO bragging about appearing on the Fortune "100 Best Companies to Work For" list today. However, I noticed that Plante & Moran was the highest CPA firm on the list. I also notice KPMG is supposedly the best Big 4 to work for, and QuikTrip (a gas station) is a better place to work than any Big 4. In fact, it's 20 places higher than my firm.
This begs the question… is this list complete and utter bullshit? Or just a small amount of feel-good bullshit? Would I really be better off being a gas-station attendent than a first-year associate?
