I'm an experienced associate working in management consulting at a Big 4 firm. I studied accounting and finance at a top accounting school and have passed all four sections of the CPA. Unfortunately none of the work I do qualifies for the required work experience to receive my license and I'm worried that if I stay in this group I'll never get my CPA. Should I look to switch into a tax, audit, or forensics group to get the required experience? My group concentrates more on PMO work and I find it boring. I'd like to do something more technical……
