I am an experienced associate in a small public accounting firm. My biggest challenge now is getting my clients prepared for an audit or a review. They are never ready – TB not tieing, schedules not tieing to trial balance, etc. This leads to lots of back and forth emails, which do not particularly help my productivity. To the senior auditor and audit managers out there, what tools or techniques do you use to get your clients organized? For the controllers and accountants, what challenges do you face, with respect to audit readiness. Thanks
