ICYMI, some academics published a study last year on narcissism in public accounting firms (get the whole paper for free here). The study found that the profession is rife with narcissists and that the degree of narcissism is inversely proportional to age. That is, the younger the public accountant, the more narcissistic he or she is. The 20-30 age group is heavily into exhibitionism, vanity, exploitativeness, superiority–it's a demographic that's just crawling with assholes. Anyhow, give it a read and go nuts.
