KPMG Poaches Someone From PwC and Issues a Press Release, Part XI

Hey. Hope you are having a good Monday so far.

Danielle Malone

Danielle Malone wasn’t as scared of KPMG coming after her as the dog in the video we posted on Sunday. In fact, she actually left PwC in Australia (the biggest of the Big 4 in terms of revenue) to join the Australian House of Klynveld (the smallest of the Big 4 in terms of revenue) as a partner in KPMG Advisory’s Digital Delta service line.

For our latest edition of “Big 4-on-Big 4 From Around the World,” Consultancy.com.au reports:

She brings nearly two decades of industry and professional consulting experience to the role. Most recently at PwC, she was the lead partner for the firm’s data transformation offering, working across a range of industries including financial services, energy, mining and the public sector.

Earlier in her career, she was an executive and head of Data Analytics at UK communications consultancy Instinctif Partners, and Director of Data Analytics at Jigsaw, among others. She has gained experience with the full lifecycle of data, from planning, organising, executing and managing the data environment.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Malone worked at PwC from 2016 until joining KPMG last February.

Funny enough, KPMG blocked staff from using ChatGPT a little less than two months ago, though it did allow certain IT professionals to […]

PwC UK Has a Soft Spot For Students Who Got Wrecked By the Pandemic

It’s no secret the pandemic screwed a lot of things up. Firms suddenly had to figure out how to manage an entirely remote work force, CPA exam candidates couldn’t test for months due to Prometric closures, and let’s not forget the poor interns and first years who had to wait for answers in Teams while […]
