Greetings All,
I am a new member of GoingConcern, a sophomore accounting major. Accounting thus far has been much easier for me than it has been for the majority of my classmates throughout. It is intellectually challenging and I don't despise accounting at all. I like it.
To most, accounting is more daunting than an 8AM Saturday class… Or giving birth.
Something I've noticed: All accountants seem so stressed. Do they all have gray hair? Not necessarily; however, regardless of age, department, substance abuse habits, you name it, they all seem very strung out.
Is it possible to be happy with life as an accountant?
