Graduation looms! December will be here in no time. As I'm already knee-deep into the recruting and job search process, I've recently made the decision that I would rather work in Tax than Audit or Advisory (if I go Big 4/national where I'll have to choice a specific practice).
My question is, should I pursue opporuntities in Federal Tax or SALT? I highly doubt I'll be a public accounting lifer, expeically if I start in Big 4, so my main priority is setting myself up for the bets possible exit opportunities a few years down the line.
Any advice, ideas, opinions, or thoughts from the esteemed GC peanut gallery would be greatly appreciated.
