To drop or not?

Hi Guys,

So I'm currently in a dilemma about whether to drop my Intermediate 1 accounting class or not?

I just had my midterm and did really bad. To be fair, the professor is known for giving very difficult exams but I thought I could handle it no problem. It's not that I have trouble understanding the concept it just that I didn't really practice and study much which is entirely my fault.

My question is, would it be smart to drop it and get a W on my transcript and take it this upcoming summer with a better professor and hopefully aim for an A or A- or just see it trough and hopefully get B at most?

I'm planning on joining a Big 4 like every other student and have been invited to one of the Big 4's leadership program this summer.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Regards,
