Oh my God it feels like it’s 2010 all over again with that headline. Thanks to the algorithm for putting this item in my feed since no one saw fit to submit a tip about it after it came out that the guy getting beat up by a Prime Video show star all over TMZ is actually a senior director at KPMG.
On Sunday, TMZ reported that Reacher star Alan Ritchson “beat the hell out of a neighbor” in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood over the weekend and, just for our entertainment, included grainy footage of the incident, seemingly shot from inside a neighbor’s house. Ritchson is the big dude doing the beating, Ronnie Taylor is the guy in a blue shirt on the ground.
It was Dexerto that uncovered Ronnie Taylor’s work history, which as of this moment shows he’s a “Senior Director – Google Cloud Alliance – Financial Services & Life Science” at KPMG since August of 2024. Before that he put in four years at Google, nine months at something called Wheels Up in NYC, and eight years in enterprise solutions at Bloomberg. So tech side guy, no need for Team CPA to take any Ls for this embarrassment.
According to TMZ, who spoke directly to the assbeating-on-the-lawn recipient, the beef started Saturday with Ritchson speeding through Taylor’s quiet Nashville suburb “at excessive speed” on his green crotch rocket Kawasaki. According to Taylor, the two gentlemen exchanged flipping off gestures and then apparently Ritchson came back through on Sunday with backup in the form of two kids. This is what Taylor originally claimed about what went down on Sunday:
Taylor says he asked Alan, “Can you f***ing stop this please,” which is when things allegedly turned physical.
Taylor says he went to the cops and reported that Alan punched him in the face and kicked him. Taylor claims Alan then fell off his bike, got back up, and tried to run him off.
There’s a video of Taylor explaining his side of the events (that, we’ll note, has been hit with a community note on X):

A follow-up article of TMZ’s includes video from Ritchson’s perspective that shows Taylor standing menacingly in the middle of the quiet street just asking to get decked and, of course, the actual decking.
The original TMZ article also included a picture of Taylor with the words “alleged victim” on it just so we’re clear on who got a big ole lump on his forehead from this.

Given Ritchson’s body cam footage, police have evidently decided not to charge anyone involved. Meanwhile, Ritchson posted this to Instagram:
Sooooo…anyone work with this guy?

I wonder whether his work visa has a ‘don’t behave like a dick” clause in it. Maybe ICE will kick his butt back to the United Kingdom. Also wondering whether KPMG will tolerate his lying deceitful behaviour as well. I bet this morning he isn’t feeling so cocky and is regretting not behaving like a guest in the USA should. Classic FAFO for a nuclear-grade clown.
Alan Ritchson doing the lord’s work, god bless
KPMG Nashville, another idiot makes himself known. Office has been filled with real clowns over the years.
The clown did not even fight back. What a wuss. No wonder our associates lack focus.
“Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face”
