(UPDATE) Today, Your Life Is Better Than Those of KPMG UK Employees

Here's an unfortunate story of Klynveldians across the pond falling victim to a "glitch" in their payroll system that is preventing nearly 11,000 employees from being paid today. They'll get their money on Monday, but suffice to say there are lots of kranky KPMG kampers in the pubs right now. Hug your paystub just a little tighter today. [Accountancy Age]

UPDATE: Accountancy Age follows up with their report that UK employees can safely pin the blame on a singular employee, saying that the payroll snafu was due to "human error." If the person responsible would like to step forward, UK employees may accept your groveling now since they've finally been paid.
