Superfluous Press Release of the Day: Deloitte Applies for Top Level Domain Name: “.deloitte”

Perhaps I'm wrong about this, but announcing the application for a Top Level Domain seems a bit unnecessary. I'm sure Deloitte will obtain the TLD without any problems, but they seem overly enthusiastic about some of the benefits, saying that it will "[improve] site accessibility and usability to Deloitte member firm clients, recruits, and others for an enhanced online experience." In other words, if all goes according to plan, the .new domain will make the firm's site easier to find and use and they're just preparing you for the sheer fucking awesomeness that .deloitte will be as part of the Super Internet that we aren't yet able to contemplate.
