I may have blown off the PCAOB public meeting this week but this I can totally get with. Mostly because they used the word "incompetent" so brazenly (the irony of which is obviously lost on the Senate).
The Senate Finance committee will be tackling the all important topic of "Protecting Taxpayers from Incompetent and Unethical Return Preparers" — an issue which cannot be discussed without inviting IRS commish John Koskinen and William Cobb, better known as the CEO of H&R Block. If only they'd thrown in Grover Norquist and any no name Tea Party activist with a blog and a sticky CAPS LOCK key, then we'd have a real party.
The whole thing kicks off at 10am next Thursday Tuesday, I will do my best to keep you all caught up on the important bits on Twitter. I am fairly sure I'd get thrown out of the Dirksen Building if I borrow Greg's Liberty Tax outfit but if you have any other ideas for subtle trolling other than the trollworthiness of my very presence, I'm all ears.

Wolf listed a series of associations that he said undermines Norquist’s credibility as a policy advocate. Among them, he cited a relationship Norquist had with former lobbyist and convicted felon Jack Abramoff. “Mister Abramoff essentially laundered money through ATR and Mister Norquist knew it,” Wolf said.
