I spent last week in Florida meeting my new overlords. And since new bosses want to talk to you and stuff, I didn't have much time for actual work.
In times like these, I lean on my friends, like Paul Gillis and Greg Kyte to pick up the slack.
One of Greg's posts, that just went up today, discussed a funny little exchange between the AICPA and Dear Abby. And by "exchange" I mean, the AICPA got all huffy about the advice Dear Abby provided a reader with about representation before the IRS.
It's hard to tell if Dear Abby was in Modern Jackass territory or the AICPA was getting a little defensive.
In the end, I suppose the honor was restored to the CPA, although after Greg's writing it might be a Pyrrhic victory.
Have a great week.
