Promotion Watch ’13: McGladrey Names 35 New Partners/Principals

Yesterday was a big day for the gang at Mickey G's as new partners and principals were annointed:

The 35 is 11 more than last year's partner class of 24

And because it's a firm of the little guy/gal, the non-partners got their very own tweet also:

You can see the full list of new partners on the next page but here's a quick rundown of some of the details:

  • Practice: 14 new assurance partners; 14 consulting; 7 tax (a big jump in consulting partners, up from 5 last year)
  • City: Chicago: 5; New York: 3; Vienna, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Kansas City, Cedar Rapids: 2 each; a bunch of randos had 1.
  • Gender: 24 men, 11 women (the breakdown was M: 18, W: 6, last year).
  • Most Popular Name: Men: Jim (2), Chris (2); There is one "Bryan" and one "Brian" but we won't be counting them as the same for the purposes of this exercise; Women: Jennifer (2)

If you want to know what CEO Joe Adams said, the go read the press release for yourself. It's about what you would expect.

Congratulations to all the newly promoted McGs out there!

Here's the entire list of partners/principals. Sorry for the slightly janky formatting. In the future, I hope firms will consider sending us the HTML to make things easy.
