How family friendly is B4 for years 1-5?

I'm a 2nd year Auditor at a B4. When I was going through the intreview process I stated I am married and many met my husband. They all fed me the "100 best places for moms!!" kool-aid. I feel like when I state I would like to stay local for engagements there is a little bit of tension. Does anyone else have a family who is on year 1-5 of a B4 that explicitly state they do not want to travel? Is this too much to ask for? Am I already going to have to be looking for other places to continue my career?
