Hiring Watch ’12-’13 and Beyond: Deloitte

Under Governor Dannel Malloy's "First Five program" if Deloitte adds (and retains) enough green dots in the Constitution State over the next 5 years, there will be a nice little bonus in it for them:

Deloitte will retain the 1,153 existing Deloitte employees in the state, according to a news release from Malloy's office. The [new] positions range from entry level to high-level executive jobs, according to the statement. Under the agreement, $9,000,000 will be awarded if 1,153 jobs are retained and 200 jobs are created by the end of 2013. According to the governor's office, $2,500,000 will be awarded if the company retains 1,353 jobs and creates 150 by the end of 2018; if the company retains 1,353 jobs and creates 300 in that same period, $5,500,000 will be awarded.
