Here’s Your Open Thread for KPMG Compensation Discussions (2013)

UPDATE: Hopefully by putting this post front and center, this will eliminate any confusion. But try to use your inside voices. Some of us are trying to work.

UPDATE 2: It's been nearly week so we're moving this post over to the margin. Instructions re: inside voices still applies.

It has been a year of ups and downs in the venerable House of Klynveld.

When we close the book on 2013, there will be memories of a drunk Irish girl, a fed-up auditor taking his life back, Omaha Steaks, losing HSBC, Phil's British Open victory, fewer PwC press releases announcing the latest partner called up, etc. etc. etc. but lots of us won't be able to think about much other than SCOTT LONDON

But let's forget the past. It's time to relish in the discussion of how you've been rewarded financially for the your hard work. We have it from a reliable source that "year end discussions started last week and go through the month" and we've had a couple of anxious requests for this thread…

So here it is.

Some of you won't be satisfied by the news you receive and after all the events that have transpired this year, our theme video for Comp Season 2013 seems even more appropriate. We hope it inspires you to take action (if it is warranted).

Godspeed, Klynveldians.
