Here’s Your Open Thread for Deloitte Compensation Discussions (2014)

The Life at Deloitte Twitter account didn't tweet about compensation discussions happening (although we do know she recently moved to the new Orlando consulting hub and she's a legal Florida citizen now), but the tip box delivers:

Deloitte Tax national comp webcast was today.  On Aug 21 everyone will receive a statement online with raise and bonus and can "opt-in" for a meeting to discuss with a PPD or talent.

Also, remember that person who tipped us to a certain firm that won't share pre-comp slides because they are scared to death someone will get them plastered all over this here website?

LOL another firm won't share pre-comp discussion meeting slides because they "tend to be shared outside of the firm" nicely done GC, nicely done.

Well, we have it on good authority that firm was Deloitte:

follow-up tip: the not sharing comp talk slides firm was Deloitte; the meeting was via online meeting and teleconference. Deloitte will start having comp discussion mid to late august. I would bank on the majority of the East region being communicated their comp and bonus info the last week of august/first week of September because that is the last possible moment prior to the information showing up in the effective pay period so I don't know that we need an open comp thread yet…although, you know how we all love to troll and speculate so I will leave that up to you wise, king of the trolling GC employees…

Add both of these together and it looks like this comp thread might be a little early but as our tipster said, we like to speculate so let's, shall we? If we don't do this now, we might totally forget.
