CFP to CPA

I've been a CFP for 7 years and want to become a CPA. I have a degree and 150 credits but not the 33 accounting credits. Additionally, Alabama requires 24 business courses since my degree was not accounting related.

What state is best for supporting requirements?

Given that I will have to take 8 or 9 specific accounting courses, does anyone know of an efficient distance learning program?

Thank you for your help!
