I'm a new user to goingconcern: a junior in college. I've been offered several internships (hopefully will lead to jobs). Every firm I have looked at (EY, PwC, KPMG, Moss Adams, Andersen Tax, Frank Rimerman, Green Hanson Janks) has told me they've got great work/life balance, flexibility, benefits and people. Does anyone have realistic data about the associate salaries, hours typically worked, and paid time off? Would I be making a mistake by choosing a Mid-tier firm rather than a Big 4 firm to start my career?
