Anyone ever apply for a top MBA program?

So yeah, Big 4 accounting sucks. No surprise there, knew that when I applied. However I can tell that sticking it out in Tax even in private industry will lead to an early grave, so I'm wondering if anyone has applied and successfully accepted into a top MBA program (top 7-10)? Looking to start over in a career that actually has some potential, and that will pay … well better than Big 4 accounting. I've read though that top MBAs look down on accountants, cause why not? I look down on them and I am an accountant.
