Two Global Mid-Tiers Aren’t Doing Too Shabby on Global Revenue and Growth These Days

Two global firms we don’t talk about nearly enough reported revenue in recent days, let’s save a little server space and discuss them both in this one article.

First up, Crowe Global. On February 17, Crowe announced another year of double-digit revenue growth to hit $6.5 billion USD (unaudited) in 2025. That’s 12 percent year-on-year growth in total with regional growth hitting two digits everywhere but North America: 21 percent in Europe, 19 percent in the Middle East, 16 percent in Asia Pacific, and 8 percent in North America.

Next up we have Forvis Mazars with combined revenue of $5.7 billion, year-over-year growth of about 11 percent. They break down percentage of revenue by service line thusly:

  • Audit and Assurance: 45%
  • Tax: 23%
  • Advisory: 21%
  • Outsourcing: 11%

In the press release, Forvis Mazars Global Network Board Chairman Hervé Hélias calls out that assurance figure in particular: “The rise of AI and digital platforms is creating a new need for independent oversight. Audit and assurance, which represents 45% of our business globally, had a particularly strong year, delivering double-digit growth. Looking ahead, the need for rigorous, independent assurance is only going to grow in this digital, regulatory, and sustainability-driven environment.”

Golf claps all around.
