Timeline of career progression at Big 4?

What's the typical career progression at Big 4? My knowledge of how this all works gets a little fuzzy after manager level.

Approximately how many years in each position for associate, senior associate, manager, senior manager, director, partner (am I missing anything?). Also, I'm sure this timeline can vary quite a bit depending on the individual, so please include any other helpful background.

Honestly, I'm not even sure how long I want to stay in Big 4, but this just seems like good information to know.
