Those Twelve ParenteBeard Partners That Quit to Join BDO Took Some of Their Friends Along

This is quite the impressive move by Bravo Delta Oscar. The firm issued this press release earlier today:

BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional service organizations, today announced an expansion of its financial institutions practice through the addition of 12 partners and as many as 97 employees formerly with the banking practice of ParenteBeard, LLC. These partners and employees will join BDO offices in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York and New Jersey.

“I want to welcome all of the new partners and staff formerly with ParenteBeard to BDO. Through the addition of these professionals, we are adding premier banking sector resources to BDO's existing financial institutions industry practice in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions," said Wayne Berson, CEO of BDO USA. “Combined with our additions of last Fall in Philadelphia and Virginia, this is powerful evidence that our expansion strategy is gaining traction in the marketplace.”

The new partners and employees will be based in BDO offices in Philadelphia, New York, Long Island, Wilmington, Del. and Woodbridge, NJ. The firm also will open new offices in Harrisburg and Reading, Pa., where approximately 50 staff will be based.

So there are some openings at ParenteBeard, then?
