I currently work in tax at a F100 company in financial services and was wondering if I would improve my background experience from switching to a tax position at a regional firm doing tax work. I noticed the for the work experience requirement for a lot of job postings they seem to value public accounting experience versus private but is this mostly exclusively big4 and national public accounting firm experience. Thank you for responses.
