Stop Using These Played Out Words in Your LinkedIn Profile Immediately

Are you passionate? Motivated? Responsible? Well guess what, you're also boring.

LinkedIn has released its list of most overused nonsense words and you probably have at least 9 of them on your profile. Please, remove them immediately. Especially if one of them is "creative," since obviously you're anything but if that's the best you can come up with just like everyone else who used it.

LinkedIn suggests instead of simply saying "I'm motivated," give the profile reader an example. If you spend 24 hours a week feeding orphans and reading to the elderly on top of your full-time job, that says to me "Hey, I'm motivated!" much more than you getting in my face saying the same thing would.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a profile to polish up.
