Recently licensed CPA, just got a DWI; what to expect?

I just received my CPA certification in August (hooray) and a DWI in September (bummer). I've looked and don't see anything indicating I need to disclose this to my state board (NC) or employer. But, I am wondering, how will this impact my employment opportunities in the future? Should I anticipate this to be a major hurdle? In addition, I'd been considering going back for a PhD. Does anyone know how/if a DWI could potentially effect that as well?

Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Btw, to placate the holier-than-thou croud, I've learned my lesson and am now — as a person — tantamount to wet dogshit in the rain.
