Here’s Your Open Thread for Omaha Steaks at KPMG

This is a really exciting time of year for some people at KPMG, if for no other reason than FREE MEAT.

Yes, it's Omaha Steaks time again. Says one tipster:

Surprised I haven't seen a post about this yet- my Omaha Steaks arrived today thanks to the house of Klynveld. Weiners, steaks, chicken and burgers all the essentials to keep my weight gain up post busy season.

We were able to track down the specifics on KPMG's summer tradition (and by "track down" we mean "Google"):

Cut from the heart of the loin, Omaha Steaks' Boneless Strips are well-marbled steaks that are incredibly juicy and full of flavor. They're often called "the ultimate cookout steak". Old-fashioned burgers just the way you like them! Extra juicy with a flavor that's out of this world, our Omaha Steaks Burgers are a grilling favorite. Eating light has never been so delicious! Omaha Steaks Chicken Breasts are hand-picked for freshness and flavor. If you hunger for the authentic taste of a deli-style hot dog, then Omaha Steaks Gourmet Jumbo Franks are just the ticket.

Your package includes the following:
4 (8 oz) Boneless Strips
8 (4 oz) Omaha Steaks Burgers
4 Boneless Chicken Breasts (1 lb. pkg.)
4 (3 oz) Gourmet Jumbo Franks

So, that's just under 2 6 lbs of quality meat on which to gorge yourself just in time for bikini season, which you won't enjoy anyway because you're spending your life in a cubicle under fluorescent light. But at least you have meat!

KPMG revenues are up nearly 7% over last year but the reward appears to have changed slightly over last year's offering of "6 steaks, 4 pork chops, 6 burgers, 8 dogs, [and] 4 chicken breasts."

If you've received your goodies and are excited to show us where's the beef, go ahead and do so in the comments.

Who’s Putting Roofies in the Drinks at KPMG In-Office Get Togethers?

This post is not a joke about partners slipping Moloko into the Kool-Aid, someone is actually spiking drinks at KPMG New Zealand. The most disturbing part, putting aside the roofies which are plenty disturbing themselves, is that this likely happened on KPMG premises. For two months in a row, “grubby little cowards” have drugged drinks […]

Turns Out the Secret PCAOB Inspection List Isn’t Intangible Property for the Purposes of Wire Fraud After All

Financial Times reported today that two of the people in the middle of KPMG’s 2018 PCAOB inspection cheating scandal (extensive write-up here if you’ve been under a rock for approximately five years) are likely limping away scot-free minus any Google searches of their name being forever dominated by stories about cheating audit inspections. Two people […]
