I had limited Big 4 experience in tax before jumping ship and have been wanting to do taxes part time or on a temporary basis but haven't had any luck with the local small firms. I would like to know if anybody here has first hand experience of doing taxes on their own. Would anybody like to share their experience of doing taxes for themselves? How much experience did you have before going it on your own? Would you recommend that route? What did you wish someone would have type you before you started? Would I be doomed to failure?
