For those of you in locations that are experiencing unrelenting, god-awful hallucination-inducing heat, it's a relief to know that in just a few short hours you'll be able to sit in directly in front of an air conditioner for the next two days, just like this little guy.

If you're still not sure how these Open Items threads work, this is your opportunity to discuss whatever you want. Career questions, Detroit, your recent Big 4 intern kickball game, Phil's chances in The Open, your sterling PCAOB inpsection report, etc. etc. You might even want to pick up the enthusiastic debate over internal audit careers here.

Yes, you can even ask "where da forum at?" We'll only hold against you for about an hour or so.
