EY TAS or PWC M&A Tax for a JD/LLM

I am looking for a role in either the PWC M&A Tax or EY TAS Transaction Tax group. My current role is with a regional firm and I do solely tax due diligence/structuring on regional M&A transactions. I have been with the regional firm for 1 year. Before that, I was with Deloitte as a Consultant (3 years . . . tax advisory role). I have a JD from a top 30 law school and an LLM (Taxation) from Georgetown.

I have always wanted to be in the transaction tax group of either PWC or EY (my preference is EY TAS Transaction Tax). Do I have enough experience to be competitive? I only have 1 year experience of doing only tax due diligence/transaction tax work, but I have 3 years of Big 4 experience (doing primarily general tax work) and a JD and a Georgetown LLM.
