Does a master in accounting help me get a job in a public firm?

hi, I have a bachelor degree in accounting from top university in North Africa. I have over 7 years foreign experience as an internal auditor. I came to the US in 2010 to be a CPA. In 2013 I got my certificate in accounting, and as of may 2016 I passed all four section of the california CPA exam. meanwhile I set up a small business in food retail. My goal is to get a job in pblic accounting firm. I have been applying to many jobs for a month, but recruiters seem to not care about my foreign degree nor  my foreign  experience. I am thinking of getting a master in accounting even tho i passed the CPA exam so I can get a foot in a door at a big cpa firm. I am lost and i need an advice.

Thank you
