Differences in hours across firms?

I am curious to get a better idea of the actual hours work both in and out of busy season for different firms. I realize they all suck but I would be interested to know. Of course I know this will differ across regions.
I just want to see if there's any drastic variations in weekly hours. I know what I'm getting into but I'm curious to see if there's one firm who might typically stay at 50-55 a week more of the year than one that is constantly at 60+ for example, and if any may ever be 40-45 during the year.
Interested in hearing from B4 and McG, GT, BDO. Please post your firm, location and service line and usual weekly hours during and out of busy season. I'm an undergrad in the Midwest at the moment, hoping to go into tax.
