Deloitte So Desperate to Populate Its LinkedIn Group They’ve Resorted to Bribery

I'm not sure why an accounting firm would even care how many members its LinkedIn group has, perhaps it's just another dick measuring contest among the Big 4. I would think they'd be more worried about avoiding lawsuits and staying off the PCAOB's ever-growing shit list but whatever.

US National Relations has just pestered alumni with this plea for them to get in that LinkedIn group like yesterday:

The funny part about this is that there's no link in the email to head to said only official Deloitte US LinkedIn group. Since they took the time out of their day to change the formatting on the word "only" before sending out this email, we can only assume there are other, seedier, underground groups not endorsed by the firm. Personally I'd rather join those but whatever.

We assume this is the official one since they're completely anal about who can actually join. "Non-alum friends of the firm" need not apply.

Deloitte has friends?
