This #CPAPOWERED Thing Could Easily Escalate Quickly

Here's the deal, the AICPA wants feel good stories on how CPAs have helped their clients. That sounds cool. The problem we see here is that trolls (not like we know any of those) might hijack the campaign as an opportunity to do what they do best, which is troll obvs. Of course, no one would EVER do that.

The details:

Your CPA* plays a role in your life’s best moments. Getting married. Having children. Opening a business. Retirement. Create an image or short video that celebrates a financial milestone powered by your CPA.

Then post your CPA powered moment right here. (Check out the gallery to see the many ways CPAs have helped others just like you.) It’s quick, it’s easy and it may win you one of five iPad Airs. Two names will be drawn on April 15, 2014 and three names on May 30, 2014.

Use the hashtag #CPAPOWERED to share your CPA powered moment with family and friends through social media.

Here is one recent example:

Cool story, bro. Why is your CPA letting you make interest free loans to the government? I mean come on, have you seen their finances?

Anyway, this really doesn't apply to you guys but if you want to pass it along to your clients, you know what to do.
