Comp Watch ’14: Anticipatory Anxiety in Deloitte Advisory

Last year, it was someone in tax who wanted to get a jump on Deloitte comp talks, this year it's an eager beaver in advisory who would like the honor:

Deloitte Advisory ratings will be approved.  We should be hearing of our rating (and possible promotions) any day this week).  Raise %'s wont be communicated for a few weeks still.

Historically, actual comp talks happen in late July, with the raise — if you are deemed worthy of one — appearing in late August, or so we're told. So our little gun-jumper here would do well to find a hobby to keep his mind off all this for the next few weeks.

Let this post serve as a friendly reminder that if you have anything interesting to share with the class such as solid dates, fancy new structures, or charts you've whipped up in your copious amounts of freetime showing the compensation trajectory at every top ten firm over the last ten years, send 'em over.

Until then, no one hold their breath.
