Celebrate Diwali in the office?

We have a rotator from India currently on our team and Diwali is coming up next week.  From what I know (which isn't much) it's a huge holiday in the Hindu culture, similar to Christmas in America.  The guy has no family here so he said he's just going to work through it but our team wants to celebrate it in some way and I need some helpful ideas.  We're stuck in a very small conference room at the client so we don't have much room, but any ideas would be helpful!

Thanks!
