Compensation Watch ’26: Deloitte Salary Numbers Are Out and Some People Are Salty

Deloitte exterior sign

Compensation threads were once a yearly tradition here at Going Concern many, many, many years ago but at some point Reddit took over the task so we’ve swung over there to grab some details on 2026 compensation at Deloitte. Mainly because salary information is valuable for everyone employed in the field, it lets us know where the market is at. Sad to say the market is at a not very great place right now.

Note that there is also a dedicated thread for USI this year, where India colleagues share their numbers separately.

GPS — that is, Government & Public Services — seems to be coming in lowest at a quick glance which is not too much of a surprise given Deloitte’s government practice was slaughtered by DOGE last year. Some figures:

GPS

Consultant: 1.0% raise, 1.3% bonus (AIP in Deloitte-speak); 3% raise, 5% bonus; 2% raise, 2.8% bonus; 2% raise, 2.1% bonus

Consultant -> Senior Consultant: 14.3% raise, 13.5% bonus

Manager 1 -> Manager 2: 4.8% raise, 18.3% bonus

Other numbers from across service lines:

Audit

A2 -> S1: 20.7% raise; 14.7% raise, 0% bonus

Staff -> Senior: 13.7% raise, 0% bonus

S1 -> S2: 15.15% raise, 5.5% bonus; 4.4% bonus, 1.6% raise

Senior Manager 3 -> Senior Manager 4: 5.6% raise, $40,000 AIP

Tax

Senior 1 -> Senior 2: 13% raise, 8.6% bonus

M1 > M2: 21% raise, 17.8% bonus

SC-> SC: 12.6% raise, 13.4% bonus

Note for April 2025 to April 2026, Consumer Price Index inflation was up 3.81 percent while energy rose 17.87 percent.

While you’re thinking about it, be sure to share updated numbers with Big4Transparency so they can update their database with the most recent salary data.

And remember, if your raise and/or bonus sucks they probably want you to quit.
