PwC Partners Take Their Appreciation for Employees to the Pages of the Wall Street Journal

"thank you" in stickers on a white background

A “Senior Associate” who was not impressed with the firm’s effort tipped us to an ad in today’s Journal.

SUBJECT: How the hell have you not done a story on PwC’s terrrrrrrrrrrrrible ad in the WSJ????
What are you guys asleep at the switch?
PwC ran shitty ad featuring our new brand in the WSJ.
The partners told “the people of PwC” that we “Rock”.
Clearly there are easier, more cost effective ways to tell the “people of PwC” we “rock” than taking out an ad in the WSJ. And not even a nice ad. I mean we “Rock”? REALLY?? What hipster doofus says things “rock”?
This is a fucking joke. How bout they pay me a god damn bonus instead of having some hack managing director in the PR group green light an ad like this. I’ve been catching hell from my buddies at KPMG. I mean FUCKING KPMG people are giving me shit about this. This is what they spend money on?
YEESH. Several items of note:
A) Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?
B) It’s called “a digital subscription.”
C) Do you really expect partners to be hip to the latest street lingo?
D) Yes, we’ve heard some complaints about the MIA bonuses.
E) It was probably a marketing hack that came up with the message, not a PR one.
F) Catching hell from KPMG peeps? Yeah, that is tough. Sorry, bud.
