Celebrate the New Year with Accounting Salaries Charted by Company Type, Role, Service Line and More

We know you all have completely forgotten about the inaugural Going Concern Salary Survey because none of you have been constantly harassing us for the results or anything. Well guess what? Results are here!

We present the following charts for your enjoyment, amusement, and/or bewilderment.

Our survey size was 1,288 individuals from all kinds of firms big and small, from private to public to government, and from all career levels. It's worth noting, though, that we got the most responses at the Associate and Senior Associate level, with Manager coming in a somewhat distant third.

Not surprisingly, we find the highest salaries at the Partner/Principal level, averaging out to $254,667. Making dat cheddar, son!

By service line, the Advisory folks come in slightly ahead of the rest of the pack at an average salary of $82,041. Assurance, meanwhile, came in last at $66,886. It is worth noting, however, that we received a significant larger number of responses on the survey from folks in Assurance, so it's possible a larger sample size of varied career levels threw this off a bit.

We'll be digging into this data a bit more as we work on a full report but we hope you enjoy this for now.
