Hi virtual friends–I did a couple quick searches on the GoingConcern site hoping to find some useful insight on A&M, but I didn't see much out there. I was hoping some of you may have heard of A&M or better yet know people who work(ed) there. I am an audit associate at a Big Four and am considering pursuing an associate role in their transaction advisory group (currently in a small market and would remain in same market). So far what I know about the role is: considerable bump in base pay (not to mention bonus possibility), more hours than audit, more travel than audit, and a much less structured promotion path than big four. Anyone out there have anything else to add? Especially curious to hear more about whether people enjoy the type of work and what exit opps might be available. Cheers!
