SNL is turning 40

I dare say that most of us went through a period – probably in middle school into high school – where we watched SNL and thought it was fucking great.


It is also likely that we all tried to watch SNL when we got older and thought that it was AWFUL. 


Anyway, that SNL is now officially over the hill.  Older than dirt.  Older than me, and I'm old.


Share some of your favorite SNL memories.


I'll start.  Wayne's World.  Waynes World was the greatest thing ever when I was a youngun. 
The Superfans.  Schmitts Gay Beer.  My favorite SNL'ers were undoubtedly Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, etc.  I don't have time to post videos, but if anyone does…
