PwC Poaches Someone From Deloitte and Issues a Press Release, Parts II and III

Stefan Zorn

When PwC released the names of its 94 newest principals earlier this month, Stefan Zorn and Sanjib Mukherjee weren’t on the list. Maybe because they were external hires and not promoted internally? I dunno. But Zorn and Mukherjee both recently bolted Deloitte as managing directors to become principals at the House of Ryan.

Zorn recently announced his departure from Deloitte and his arrival at PwC on LinkedIn:

Zorn has spent the past 20 or so years focused on spend management transformations and M&A execution. According to his bio:

He has very deep experience leading complex enterprise-wide external spend management transformations for global enterprises in many industries, including high- and FinTech. Most currently, Stefan led the Customer Success group at Globality, a company that applies AI to transform the sourcing of professional services for Fortune 100 companies. In his previous role as a Managing Director of Deloitte Consulting’s Sourcing and Procurement practice, he has sourced over $3 billion of spend for his clients, while achieving over $450 million of savings and was a leader in Deloitte’s Sourcing and Procurement M&A practice.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Zorn had two stints with Deloitte Consulting: one from June 1998 to September 2017, and his most recent one from January 2020 until the end of last month.

Mukherjee also took to LinkedIn to announce he was joining P. Dubs as a principal:Before joining PwC, Mukherjee was a managing director in Deloitte Consulting’s Enterprise Operations Supply Chain and SAP practice.

According to his bio:

A consulting leader with a laser focus on business outcome, Sanjib brings deep expertise in solving complex Supply Chain and Procurement issues. He leads the SAP Ariba practice in Deloitte and has helped in designing to deployment of several Technology enabled Procurement transformation programs which has delivered tangible and measurable value by increased and sustainable savings, improved process efficiency, better end to end spend visibility and transparency. Sanjib is a thought leader on key emerging topics including ‘Intelligent Spend Management’ and ‘Kinetic Procurement’.
