PwC Latest Big 4 Firm to Equalize Healthcare Costs for LGBT Employees

Tara Siegel Bernard of the New York Times has been keeping a progress report of gay employee health benefits and just tweeted a short time ago that PwC is the latest Big 4 accounting firm to equalize the cost for LGBT employees.

PwC's announcement follows KPMG and Ernst & Young who both announced that they would equalize the cost for their LGBT employees last month. So, that just leaves Deloitte, who will surely follow suit although it's interesting to note that E&Y and KPMG led the effort in this regard. We've definitely become accustomed to PwC leading the charge of accounting firm policy followed by Deloitte (only after much hand-wringing).
