Janet Yellen: Auditing the Fed Is NBD

Sen. Sherrod Brown just asked Ms. Yellen about the “Audit the Fed” proposal. Close Fed watchers have heard most of this before, but here’s Ms. Yellen’s response: 
 
”The Federal Reserve is extensively audited,” Ms. Yellen began, and even showed a copy of Deloitte & Touche’s audit of the Fed’s books. 
It's probably not that complex, anyway. Plus, Deloitte is getting way better at auditing lately. We should all feel great now.
