Cash flow, automation, fraud protection. Your firm can deliver all three.
Finance leaders would like some help with the accounting. Not a little help, either.
BILL asked 354 finance decision-makers about their priorities. Among those who outsource accounting or are open to it, 51% would consider handing over most or all of it. Translation: take this off my plate.
So what’s on the list?
Cash flow. Managing it through shifting economic conditions is a top priority, and 47% want sharper reporting and analysis. Put payables, receivables, and expenses on one platform and clients can finally see cash in and cash out in the same place. BILL Spend & Expense captures spend in real time, which means clients skip the 30-plus days of waiting around to reconcile.
Automation. Half say procurement, financial planning, and budgeting aren’t automated at all. Just 4% are fully automated. Clients clearly want automation. What they need is someone to build it without blowing the budget.
Fraud. Only 29% feel very confident in their protection from payments fraud. That leaves a lot of finance leaders with some lingering doubt. BILL Accounts Payable routes checks through a clearing account that hides the client’s own account, and virtual cards mask account numbers during digital payments.
