Big 4 to Regional Firm

Here’s a query from the mailbag:

My wife and I are looking to relocate. I got an offer from a regional firm in the area we were thinking about relocating to. It is a good offer with a competitive salary. However, I am worrying myself sick that my outside opportunities will dwindle away because I am leaving B4 for a regional firm.

OP wants to know if all this worry is for nothing.
