Big 4 – changing office before starting full time?

Hello all,

I accepted an offer from a big 4. I am set to start sometime next fall. However, I’m currently living in a different city, which is 2 hours away from the office where I’ll be starting next year. I really enjoy living here, and the firm I accepted an offer from has an office here too, but it’s much smaller.

Would it look bad, or could my offer be rescinded, if I talked to my recruiter about possibly changing offices for when I start full time? I know every firm has a different policy, but will the odds work in my favor?
